A new addition to Atkinsons Smoked Fish Limited
The Fishwife opened her doors as a new addition
to Atkinsons Smoked Fish Limited in August 2008.
Established
in 1932, Atkinson's is the oldest, traditional, family-run, smoked fish business in Grimsby and The Fishwife will now operate as a traditional
fishmonger from the same site. We embrace traditional curing techniques and we are committed to providing you with the best available products.
What we do
Fish. Fantastically well. Sourcing from well managed stocks, sustainably where possible, we can prepare any of our fish to your exact requirements.

First and foremost I would like to thank you for your help and advice you gave me last Tuesday when I came into your shop and purchased a Dover Sole. I must say it was very nice, simply baked with dill and lemon as suggested and a side dish of spinach, stir fried with a little garlic, walnuts and crème fraiche. An extravagant mid week evening meal!

As I surveyed the fishy feast spread out on the counter, Jenny convinced me to take away their speciality John Dory, which in turn Mark cooked beautifully and I heartily enjoyed.
